THE PAOLO ROVESTI INSTITUTE

The Paolo Rovesti Institute was founded in 1984 by a group of collaborators of the Prof Paolo Rovesti, Italian investigator (1902-1983) that developed the concept of Phytocosmetics all over the world with more than 500 publications. The numerous documents (over 15,000), the original publications (some of them unpublished) by Paolo Rovesti, are the scientific and cultural foundation of the Institute.

But research has continued, to discover new raw materials and active ingredients, to develop new innovative formulations, linked to the plants and herboristery, both in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical and veterinary field.

The web site will offer from time to time, « historical » and new, original publications. The main research activities of the Institute will be described: activities that can raise an interest, also economical, in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical and veterinary sector.
