GUIDO ROVESTI

Guido Rovesti obtained his degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Milan in 1959, and was then an Ordinary Assistant of Organic Chemistry in the same faculty.

Since 1960 Guido Rovesti has presided the Research Institute on Plant Derivatives, and since 1984 the Paolo Rovesti Institute, which houses an enormous cultural and scientific patrimony, left largely by his father, of more than 15,000 publications of Chemistry, Cosmetology, Herbs, Phytocosmetics and the study of Officinal Plants, Research of natural derivatives and the minutes of International Congresses, etc.

He is President of the Italian Society of Medicinal Plants, which edits the review 'Secondo Natura Erbe', with which he has collaborated for years.

He is a much appreciated researcher and cosmetologist, with a wide experience and sensibility, he is author of significant publications in chemistry and cosmetic science and important studies on essential oils. The formulation of the innovative green cosmetics with whole phytocomplexes are due to him.
